I just Watched...Exit Through The Gift Shop at 1:30 PM

I Just Watched Exit Through The Gift Shop. Now i've been looking for this film for a good six months and been searching ever torrent site for a decent version of the film but they would always be fucked up until found this one. I believe when I found it i jumped in the air with joy because every single thing i'd heard about this film were super positive and that i had to check it out. So the ride was set and all i had to do was hit the ejection button and fly into a world of discovery!

Exit Though the Gift Shop is a documentary by famous (or maybe infamous) street artist Banksy about a french documentary maker who though pure chance was able to enter the street art movement just as it was beginning to grow and captured thousands of hours of footage of the stars of the movement at work. However although hes able to be with all these famous people there is one, Banksy who still remains anonymous and who Thierry Guetta the film maker develops an obsession with.

I feel that the first two thirds of the film, Thierry charting the rise of the street art movement from within are absolutely incredible. The last third when Thierry himself decides to become a prolific street artist however seems a bit too good to be true. He rises from nothing to worldwide fame a little two quick, and many critics have suggested that it all, could just be Banksy moving his political art into a new direction by manipulating the art world. Everyone agrees that this film which ran at the 2010 sun dance is incredible, and if hes the real deal is only up to all of you. This film asks what is art and what isn't and destroys the clear boundary. Check out Exit Through the Gift Shop and decide for your self.
