I Just watched...Buried

I Just watched Buried.

One of my greatest fears in the world is being Buried alive like Nick from CSI several seasons back. Buried with Ryan Reynolds was probs not a good choice for viewing but it had rave reviews from Sundance last year and some say its good to grab your fears by the horns and rip of the head of the charging bull before it gorges you in the groin. Also Ryan is the only on screen actor throughout the entire 90 minute film which is something very new and very different so I watched it and take a look after the break how I felt about it.

Im going to keep this short and sweet as I still have the jitters. Buried is an amazing one man film, taking you on the ride of a lifetime as Ryan Reynolds wakes up buried alive in a coffin in Iraq with limited supplies and air as he battles his wits and his sanity as he squirms his way to freedom. The entire film takes place in the coffin which you think for 90 minutes would get boring however during this time you become so well connected with the character that you feel like your in there with him. For me this was especially true and although I was watched it in my spacious basement I had to stop the movie several times as the claustrophobia that would overcome with me with panic would greatly swell.

In my opinion being buried alive has to be one of the worse ways to die along possibly with drowning. Not being able to move about would probably send me over the edge of sanity just waiting to live or die. Anyways this movie was good then end is a swift kick in the jaw and I actually hyperventilated so much that I had to get up off the couch and walk around.

I've really wanted to see this for a while, and I love Ryan Renolds's acting, so I'm definitely gonna rent this.

And well done for facing your fears, even in an indirect manner. Even the largest goals start with small steps.

I'm pretty claustrophobic. I think I'd cringe watching this movie.
