Well last night I got my dubstep on all night long and let me say i had a fantastic time. I will admit that when dubstep first began coming into my life i really didn't like it as I felt it was just transformer sounds and whatnot. But luckily the genre has progressed to the point where a lot of good content is being released and overall the community is exploding.
Do you think dubstep is a phase or a legit genre?

I think all music genres are a phase. Look at disco. There are still people who listen to it now and then, but it's mostly dried up.
Mostly. I'm sure the BeeGee's still make a lot of money and pull a lot of tail.

You should try to get in to it, there are so many different styles of dubstep, from the completely awful to the amazing. Listen to stuff like Gyu and Kryptic Minds, it's not all about in your face aggressive bass lines going wob wob wob wob.
Oh and Distance is amazing.
Dubstep for me is a phase. I'm not really that into it personally. In fact, most of it is crap to me. But some songs are super catchy <3
