That's a beautiful send off.
They should make space exploration a division of the UN and all countries fund one program.
NASA is all about pushing the limits of science and sending people into space and bringing them back isn't cutting edge anymore. Unmanned deep space missions and sending robots to explore Mars and beyond is the way to know, I think.
